The Biggest Dropzone Commander Kit Yet; The UCM Behemoth!
May 27, 2022 by brennon
With the reconquest in full swing within Dropzone Commander, TTCombat thought that the UCM might need a poster boy. Well, that's where the UCM Behemoth stomps into your 10mm Sci-Fi wargames. The biggest Dropzone Commander kit to date!
UCM Behemoth // Dropzone Commander
As much a propaganda statement as it is a combat vehicle, the Behemoth goes a little outside the remit of the UCM. They don't tend to like the idea of legged mechs but who could say no to the war factory that presented you with this as a concept?
UCM Behemoth Spin Shot // Dropzone Commander
This is a rather impressive miniature as you can see. It's not a kit for the faint of heart either. The legs have been designed for a lot of freedom when it comes to posing allowing for ball joints and lots of axels in the leg joints. Each leg is about eighteen parts so you'll be able to showcase your Behemoth stomping on whatever you fancy.

In-game, the Behemoth is no slouch either. All of the guns that it gets to bring to bear on the enemy can melt pretty much anything into slag. You should be able to turn a whole host of vehicles into burning wrecks. It does however have the disadvantage of being huge so you won't be able to hide that well!
You can dive into the nitty-gritty of the rules HERE and let us know if this will be joining your UCM army.
Are you a fan of the Behemoth?

I have played a lot of Dropzone with my friends, but always with their armies. I never invested because the UCM did not have walkers. This figure is glorious, but a little too late for me. I have since invested in Battletech and Adeptus Titanicus. Maybe four or five years from now, when they bring out some light and medium walker versions for the UCM, I might decide to finally buy an army.
I’ve been tempted by these big beasts they are bringing into Dropzone, I am waiting for the shaltari one to make an appearance as I have the 4 armies but no resistance and then I’ll see about choosing one of these.
That looks fantastic an I bet some of the Battletech player’s will be adding this to their force’s.
Big mecha is always welcome.
I already own the PHR and Scourge behemoths that were recently released, I’ll most likely add this and the Shaltari behemoths when they are released.
