Look For Big Game With Sword & Board’s Beast Hunter
October 14, 2014 by brennon
Sword & Board Games have more miniatures on the way for the world of Twelve Elements of War. This time they're hunting big game with the Beast Hunter! Her crossbow looks like it does some serious damage!
Along with her rather awesome crossbow that axe will be for when she gets up close and personal with her prey, a rather epic 3D sculpt and one I'd love to see painted up. Once again I like the cross between semi-realistic and cartoonish with these pieces, it works really well.
As an additional bit of news they've said that those who pre-ordered miniatures should be happy that Maxmini have added things to their production queue now!
What do you think of the Beast Hunter?

I like that sculpt a lot.
How ever I must point out that with crossbows it’s bow part and how far it can be sprang that gives it power. And seeing that bow part i would say that that thing must require lot of strenght to pull all the way.
I’m liking everything but the knot on the top of the head. I hope it comes with one that can be swapped in. If not, I’m sure I can find one.
Heavy crossbows were later drawn back by a crank. I’m not sure if the correct term is ‘windlass’ but it operates on the same principle.
A little bit creepy…..Why does he have breasts???
