Beware Limbo Miniature’s Bloodthirsty Butcher

Limbo Miniatures has now shown off one of the first miniatures for their upcoming Kickstarter game. Here we have the demonic Gouge, The Butcher.
This fellow is a monstrous beast and someone that you want to either avoid or take head-on with your companions at your side. I think the design of these models is wonderful and it certainly shows off what Limbo Miniatures are able to achieve, hopefully putting aside some concerns about their game and the quality of the models.
The concept art for the piece was by Roberto Cirillo with sculpting by Joaquin Palacios and painting by Qianwei Shi.
Having played Diablo III I get a similar vibe from these models - which is a good thing.
Hopefully, we see more miniatures in the near future!

He looks fabulous he wouldn’t look out of place painted as a black Ork warlord fronting a big war hoard.

I’d *love* a heavily Diablo inspired miniatures world (and game). Lookswise that is but not so much regarding game mechanics, please. ^^ I also like most of this design here. Don’t see especially much of DIII in this. Would require a few distinct changes to shift the impression from WC3 / WoW to primarily DIII. 😉
