If you've never heard of Wild West Exodus (where have you been?) here is a lowdown on the game...
"Wild West Exodus is an exciting and fast-paced tabletop miniatures game that will plunge you into the darkness of the savage frontier, a world far more sinister than the one from our history books. For thousands of years, the progress of humanity has been influenced by opposing alien forces who seek to reshape the world for their own purposes.
Through corruption or clandestine interference, the world has been steered towards a terrifying new age of arcane science and heroic gunfighting set against the backdrop of a stellar conflict that has been waged for millennia!"
If you're interested in learning more about the game from us then we have a whole section of the website dedicated to Wild West Exodus which you can check out HERE.
Give the faction videos a watch and then download all the gubbins you need to give this game a go in its 2nd Edition.
Will you be trying it out?

I’ll certainly be having a look. I have a metric $#!tload of WWX stuff out in the shed from the first kickstarter. I’d love to have an excuse to crack it open (This was my last impulse buy kickstarter, where I got carried away and went over the top. This doesn’t happen anymore, I a,m now very mature and restrained … (mind you I am running out of years to be mature in …*sigh)
I hope it is just because of the Beta, but I don’t really like the new art style.
Also, i would be really annoyed if the golden army got discontinued, and I don’t see any of the confederate rebellion, dark nation etc…
Now I see, they added to other, larger factions. Not completely sure if I like this idea.
My friend and I only own Confederates and Golden Army so hard not to be disappointed that those have been swallowed up by others. Some of the CR guys appear in Hex and some in Outlaws (with Golden Army) so that’s going to be confusing.
You can take all the models in a Confederate army still. The faction rules are being released this week which will make things clearer!
It’ll make sense once you see them as an army.
Ok, it makes way more sense now.
Although I hope a lot more theme posses will come.
Wow, I wasn’t expecting such a large swathe of changes to the game- a very brave move by Warcradle, and I’m looking forward to giving the beta a proper read-through!
I haven’t played the old version but I watched some batreps and the system of ” high rolls to hit and low rolls to save” seemed like a nice concept. Now everything is based on beating a “10”…
I will give it a try, not sure why they made this change in mechanics though.
(I do like that a 1 is an “ace”/ low card”…it would be cool to see more playing card mechanics in the game)
I feel like they’ve messed up the stat cards/list building aspect of the game. I understand that the edition is very much in beta, but right now the list building is way too limiting unless you want 3-4 Bosses running around. Also half the characters feel like they took away their personality, and many now play completely differently to how they did in the 1st Edition.
Watched this last night after buying starter game at Expo,so am not going to look at 1st addition too much, Nice to know everyones die rolling is as bad as mine,
