Beowulf Joins Dominion Of Gods From Comfy Chair Games
December 18, 2015 by brennon
Comfy Chair Games have shown off the final addition to the Norse part of their Dominion of the Gods game. Here we have Beowulf (who isn't technically Norse in the Viking sense) with his sword ready to cut down whatever creature threatens his hall...
I quite like this stance for him, defending as a creature rushes forwards to claw at him, before the sword finds its way into its gut. He resembles the animated movie version of Beowulf a bit more than I'd like but that's not too bad I guess.
Will you be keeping an eye out for their upcoming Kickstarter?

‘I am beer-wolf!!!’ haha, he’s a Geat, who’s lands are now part of Sweden but back then they happened to be close to their Jute, Angle and Saxon neighbours which is why it’s such an important Anglo-Saxon poem (as it was written by an unknown Englishman sometime in the 7th century)
Awesome sculpt. He’ll be on my wish list.
Awesome tale, Beowulf.
I am still trying to find the version I have seen only once, which had the original copy of the early text a modern English translation page facing page. I anyone knows who the author of that version was and or its full title could they let me know please.
Victoria and I have an affection for Hay on wye and book hunting this is where I saw a copy and always regret not getting it when I could.
As for the mini it does nothing for me sorry this one is a miss.
