Introduce Belgian Line Infantry Into Your Black Powder Wargames
August 8, 2022 by brennon
Warlord Games has added a new set to their webstore over the weekend for those diving into Black Powder. Whilst they have been focusing on Epic Battles and 15mm for the last while, this new set of Belgian Line Infantry are actually for your 28mm wargames during the Napoleonic period.
Napoleonic Belgian Line Infantry // Warlord Games
This set comes with twenty-four Belgian Line Infantry miniatures for you to use in your games. This set comes with all of your rank and file alongside a Command group including an Officer, Drummer, Ensign and NCO. You also get a full-colour flag sheet because everyone loves banners even if a unit didn't normally fly one!

The Dutch and the Belgians formed a third of the allied army and were vital to Wellington's success. Many of these soldiers had been fighting under Bonaparte only a year before so Wellington wasn't exactly happy about them, to begin with. Despite that, the Dutch and Belgians did hold firm against the French and even had a good go at bloodying the nose of the Old Guard.
This is a neat-looking new set of resin miniatures that are due for a full release in September. Pre-orders are available right now though allowing you to slot them into your painting schedule for the rest of the year.
Could you be tempted by these Belgians?

Ooh they are looking great for gaming.
Having see these up close it’s a really nice set. Good to see 28mm Napoleonic still getting some release from warlord and a more minor nation too!
Biggest issue for me is these are Warlord Resin/siocast, unless they have switched to the new harder siocast these could be a nightmare to cleanup, having had the Spanish set which was shocking I want to like these but I think I’ll end up avoiding.
Very nice ?
About time they make other figures for the Npoleonic time
