A Beautiful New Cover Previewed For Cubicle 7’s The One Ring
July 19, 2019 by brennon
Cubicle 7 has shown off the beautiful new cover that they are going to be using for The One Ring and it's new edition, coming later this year. Take a peek...
This stunning new piece of artwork is by the Johan Grenier who worked on their cover art for Age Of Sigmar: Soulbound. It shows a group of adventurers battling against Orcs and Goblins whilst travelling with Gandalf through the wilderness.
As well as the new artwork we also got some hints as to what is included within the pages of this new book...
- A complete set of rules for roleplaying in Middle-earth
- Instructions for how to create your character and forge your own fellowship
- 11x unique Cultures and 6x different Callings to choose from
- A bestiary of enemies to face, from creeping Giant Spiders and hungry Wargs, to vicious Orcs and terrifying Stone-trolls
- Advice for telling stories that evoke the spirit and feeling of The Hobbit™ and The Lord of the Rings™
- A complete Tale of Years spanning from the death of Smaug up to the year 2065 of the Third Age
A good bestiary and plenty of character options is a good start for someone looking to get stuck into some Middle-earth roleplaying. There are two different paths for you to travel now, either with The One Ring and this new edition, or Adventures In Middle-earth which is tied into the D&D 5E system.
Will you be diving into The One Ring?

Played in a couple of The One Ring games, ace system, and I like how it encourages the players to create a party/company/fellowship rather than a bunch of random characters.
May be interesting going treasure hunting and bump in to a balrog or some other bygone monster.
