Charge Into Battle With Victrix’s French Napoleonic Dragoons
May 30, 2022 by brennon
Victrix has released a brand new plastic set of 28mm miniatures for the Napoleonic period. The French are getting themselves a set of Dragoons for the period of 1807-1812.

The set comes with enough bits to make twelve miniatures. These are spread over three frames with a Command frame for making the leaders of this particular unit.

The miniatures in the set are dynamic, as you've come to expect from the folks at Victrix. They are posed in the midst of a charge with their sabres at the ready. The miniatures are dressed in their pre-Bardin regulation uniform with long-tailed coats. They can be used to mark the invasion of Russia in 1812 all the way through to the battle of Leipzig in 1813.

The head options and such also allow you to make Elite companies of Dragoons on the tabletop. They were even flashier with fringed epaulettes and bearskin headdresses. An impressive set of miniatures for you to add to your collection as your Napoleonic army expands.
Are you tempted to snap up these new Dragoons in plastic?

Ooh they look good.
Here be no dragons! Liars! No dragons I do not see…. but pretty horses in a bag
Another cracking set of cavalry from Victrix, some very nice dynamic poses make a change from the usual massed ordered ranks.
Perfect for your large Napoleonic games or smaller skirmishes such as sharp practice.
I love them. Beautiful and dynamic sculpts.
While I think 28mm Napoleonic wargaming is more of a life sentence than a hobby, there is a nice selection of more skimishy rules to enjoy these minis in in their 28mm glory.
These are great
