Battle Before The Imperial Palace With Deep-Cut Studio

Deep-Cut Studio has added a brand new gaming mat to their collection this week. This time around, you'll be able to battle around the grounds of the Imperial Palace, perhaps in grimdark wargames like Warhammer: The Horus Heresy.

As always, this gaming mat comes in a variety of materials including cloth, PVC and mousepad and in a vast array of different sizes depending on the kind of game you're going to be playing. You could use this for tight skirmishes or larger siege battles where Battle Brother turns on Battle Brother.

I really like that the gaming mat showcases a once proud and mighty cityscape that has been ravaged by war. I could see this being a massive plaza with towering statues honouring the mightiest heroes of the galaxy OR the palace itself where each set of tiles becomes rooms filled with relics and icons of war.
There's no reason this couldn't be used for something fantastical too. I could see this being one of the mighty strongholds of an Elven kingdom that is getting ravaged by the threat of chaotic forces from abroad. Maybe it's an ancient treasure chamber beneath a mountain that now plays host to a dragon that broods over its treasure?

Yes I would get that. Just the right amount of detail and works well with the Sector Imperials terrain. Deep-Cut has been doing some great designs lately.
