Battle Foam Offers Eco-friendly Boxes To Store Your Minis
April 20, 2015 by stvitusdancern
Battle Foam showed us a nifty little, affordable box at Adepticon last year that would allow you to protect your minis with their great custom foam. They've now taken that concept a step further and in addition to their amazing bags, they offer a range of box options to keep your gear safe and organized.
They now offer Eco boxes & D Boxes, both with handles as less expensive options to their canvas bag counterparts, as well as Stackers. Stackers are Battle Foam's answer to file boxes, but these boxes come with custom foam!
Just think of how organized your game room will be!
Will you be adding some Battle Foam boxes to your hobby?

See I would’ve called them archival.
Think i’ll stick to my KR cases. 🙂
“Battlefoam! The best way to transport and protect your miniatures! ”
Hang on a minute….
What are those KR guys doing? Cardboard? Seriously?
That’s stupid….
/scene fades to black. On screen announcement that several years have passed…
– Well, that’s what the movie would look like if I was directing it!
As someone who works in an industry where part of my job involves the protection of paper records and other objects I have dealt with a lot of companies that produce boxes and the majority of boxes are actually card based, so I am not surprised about this move, it’s just catching up with the other areas of the storage and transportation industry. And card boxes can be resilient if stored correctly.
Exactly, I think most hobbyists, if not hoarders, would at leasts cringe at the idea of binning anyhing. Not to mention minis. Now a painted coated mini surrounded by foam doesn’t need that much potection as long a the card doesn’t actively de-gas degenerative solvents you don’t need much to qualify as archival.
These look ok, but if they’re as overpriced as the rest of the BattleFoam range I’ll be sticking to my KR multicases.
With the handle on the lid, these won’t last 5 mins if carrying metal minis.
