Warlord Games has introduced another new set into the mix for those building up Samurai armies on the tabletop, perhaps even Fantasy ones for Warlords Of Erehwon. See what you make of these deadly Armoured Onna-Bugeisha armed with naginata.

These female martial artists were fierce warriors who were trained and ready to defend their households and families with brutal efficiency. Armed with their naginata and clad in protective yet flexible armour, they are warriors that you do not want to mess with.

This set is very cool and I love the way that the sculptor has brought these warrior women to life. The poses are neat, the details are great and you get a real sense of their skills. I think these would be great when included as part of a larger unit or used individually in skirmish games. And no exposed midrifts, breasts, combat thongs or bikini armor, or other stupid ideas. These are great looking miniatures of Japanese warrior women to be proud of.
I didn’t realize that warlord still did samurai figures, I like the look of these.
