The Barbed Crawlers Hunt In The Other Side

Wyrd Games have previewed the grunt troops of the Gibbering Horde in The Other Side, the Barbed Crawlers.
The Barbed Crawlers are some of the only ranged attack the Gibbering Horde can draw upon, firing barbs from their body to take down their prey.
While crawlers are the lowest of the Horde, these guys can deal out the pinning tokens and act as cannon fodder to help back up the rest of your army.
What are your thoughts on these spiky critters?
