CMON continues to preview more wargaming miniature releases for A Song Of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game and the Baratheon cause. Whether you're looking to turn around the fortunes of Renly or perhaps support Stannis in his claim to The Iron Throne, you have some cool options.

Rose Knights - A Song Of Ice & Fire

Rose Knights // A Song Of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game

First up we have The Rose Knights who are a seriously hard-hitting regiment for you to include in your Baratheon force. Their real focus is in being a defensive bulwark which can help to shield your other units from harm. With their restorative abilities, they are able to stay in the fighting for longer, especially with Perseverance & Valour added on too. They can then switch this over to be more offensive if needed thanks to a hefty eight attack dice at full strength (they even hit on 3+ too!). It will be hard to shift them with their 3+ armour as well.

The R'hllor Faithful - Priestesses & Fire

If you prefer your Baratheons to be a bit more fiery and zealous then you also have the option to field the R'hllor Faithful.

Rhllor Faithful - A Song Of Ice & Fire

R'hllor Faithful // A Song Of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game

This is a force which is focused more specifically on Stannis Baratheon and cannot fight for the "pretender" Renly. They still come in at a mighty seven points with a rather weak defence save of 5+. However, they make up for this by being devoted to the power of R'hllor who gifts them with an impressive 4+ Morale which means they won't be running away in a hurry.

The focus of the R'hllor Faithful is on making people panicked and forcing them to flee before their devotion. With eight dice in combat and hitting on 3+, they are a force to be reckoned with but it gets even more deadly with the addition of Heart Of Fire. Tokens generated by successful Panic Checks can be spent to force the opponent to make Panic Checks of their own, wittingly down their numbers simply by virtue of them being there. Tokens can also be spent to make other units attack after seeing their bravery and they can even use their flaming swords to sow more discord amongst their foes.

This is a seriously meaty unit which seems like it should be at the core of your Baratheon force; if you're loyal to Stannis of course.

What do you think of these new miniatures?
