Bagpipes or Foreign Legion you decide with Perry Miniatures!

Well the boys at Perry Miniatures are at it again, this time they have announced some of this months releases and they include of all things: Tam 'O' Shanters with piper and the French Foreign Legion WWII sets.
The first set is a customization set for the plastic Desert Rats figures. With this set you can add some Scottish flavor to your army with this headgear and bagpipes so you can add some Black Watch miniatures. Who doesn't love a little regimental bagpipe music when leading the charge?
The second set is the French Foreign Legion sets also for WWII. There are four different set availible so you can model these brave men who fought against two enemies the Axis and their own Vichy French. These were a tough bunch of men who asked no questions as to who you were or where you came from as long as you pledged to follow the Legion.
The figures are really nice and will make a great addition to anyone's game table.
Will you be putting on your Kepi and marching to the pipes?
Nice! I really like the pipers. I might have to start me an army of tam ‘O’Shanter clad Black Watch Desert Rats just so I can aquire me some of these boyz .Of course I’ll have to learn what game system they work in and how that game system works but that’s all part of the un of it isn’t it suckaz! hahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaa (endless maniacal insane laughter!)
Bolt action by warlord games

The 13th Demi-Brigade, formed for service in Norway, found itself in the UK at the time of the French Armistice (June 1940), was deployed to the British 8th Army in… Read more »
Always loved the agony bags, except for that lone piper that used to play reveille on a hill shortly after I’d stumbled into the barracks at zero-dark-thirty.
I got a box of desert rats I’ve not started yet. seriously tempted by these. would I paint these the same as regular desert rats?
Cat-strangling – begin! Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Since I’m not familiar with the Black Watch and couldn’t find any info about them and the Tam O Shanters, did they actually wear these into combat? Didn’t seem likely but you never know.
Yeah, the point is a perfectly valid one but there’s plenty of items of military uniform that are purely ceremonial that you wouldn’t normally find on your soldier in a combat situation, but which make for a much more interesting miniature and which make the hobby so much richer too.
