Snap Up Bad Squiddo’s Onna-Bugeisha In Final Days On Kickstarter
November 1, 2018 by brennon
Bad Squiddo Games is closing in on the final days of their Onna-Bugeisha Kickstarter which looks to bring a whole new range of metal Female Figures to the tabletop for use in your skirmish games.
The Onna-Bugeisha were some of the finest fighters in Feudal Japan, trained in the art of war to defend their settlements when armies were away.
This meant that they were able to use many of the same weapons used by the men with deadly efficiency and even made the naginata their weapon of choice. It is the piece of equipment that you'll almost always see with them in images and artwork.
These miniatures all have great character built into them and it's superb to see lots of both armoured and unarmoured variants which you could use in games beyond those that are Historical.
For example, with Legend Of The Five Rings getting its role-playing game these miniatures would be perfect as characters and NPCs.
Of course, if you're wanting to keep things very Historical then you could use them in Test Of Honour and Ronin which are two awesome skirmish games from Warlord Games and Osprey Publishing.
As I mentioned at the top of the piece, the Kickstarter campaign is coming to a close soon so you'll want to get involved if you can!
What do you think of their new miniatures?

I really love these minis, they have a lot more character than other similar sculpts that you see.
Those look really good.
