Bad Squiddo Games’ Shieldmaiden Lathgertha Now Available
May 25, 2015 by brennon
Bad Squiddo Games, otherwise known as The Dice Bag Lady, have released their Shieldmaiden Lathgertha miniature onto their webstore so you can now use her as a Warlord in your games of SAGA! See what you think of her and make sure to snap her up before they're all gone...
She's quite the warrior woman and she's so popular they all sold out at Salute 2015 this year before I could get one at the event! Lathgertha is sculpted by Phil Hynes and painted by Paul Cubbin. She is cast from high quality resin and comes unpainted and unassembled, with a 25mm round base.
This is just the first in a line of many 'Believable Female Miniatures' from the Dice Bag Lady so look out for more coming (hopefully) soon...
What do you think of her?

Wahey!
Just to say she won’t be going away, it’s just a case of being aware of demand appearing faster than production, it is ramped up to 11 though! 😀
Cheers!

I didn’t manage to get one at Salute either so I am glad to hear this.
Splendid sculpt but also splendidly painted by the Cubmeister (who surely is a robot or at least has bionic eye implants painting this level of detail).
realistic female models is something that is often sorely lacking from miniatures ranges.
Sadly true, but this is a very positive step, hopefully many more to come.
