Bad Squiddo Games Preview New Shieldmaiden Champion

Heading up some more releases from their Female Miniatures range Bad Squiddo Games have shown off the green for quite the leader in the Shieldmaiden Champion. Brynhildr is a dangerous looking individual with a mighty dane axe ready to smash through shields...
While the first inclination is to use her as part of a Viking warband I would drop her into an Anglo-Dane or Anglo-Saxon Warband as one of the Hearthguard watching over their Warlord. I could imagine a warrior woman carrying over her Nordic heritage and fighting alongside the men in battle.
What do you think of her?

Excellent looking mini. I can see her leading a SAGA warband or maybe a hero for a Dragon Rampant army.
It’s much better than the Joan of Arc type one they just released. If I had to offer criticism, the edges on the axe could do with being a little bit sharper
I have a problem with the cape. Looks weird and doesn’t hang right.
