Baccus 6mm Reinforces The Western Front With New Releases For The Great War

A scale that has always caught my eye was the 6mm and the amazing battles you could have with them. Now those of you, who are a little more finicky when it comes to representations of weapon ranges and such are always suggesting smaller scale miniatures to make the battles "truer" to life.
While this is true, I love miniaturization and how small can you get before it's just a lump of plastic or metal sitting there with a splash of paint on it. One company that I watch on a regular basis is Baccus 6mm, their ranges of miniatures seem to come alive. They have released some new miniatures for The Great War (WWI). They have released late war French infantry and artillery, German artillery, and British artillery and mortars. We also can not forget about the iconic Rolls Royce armoured cars.
If you are looking for a "package" deal Baccus 6mm is now offering army packs on two different levels, Corps and Division (Corps is a HQ and 2 Division packs) or if you want to get your mate involved their also offer Boxed sets that literally contain everything you need to play some battles, minus the glue and paint.
As I sit here writing this I can see great battles playing out in my mind, a massive terrain table of trenches and mud everywhere. Hundreds of 6mm soldiers and vehicles clashing in battle, hmm I think I would have to do some of these battles on a 1 to 1 ratio. I wonder how many miniatures I would have to buy?
Have you played at this tiny scale? What is the best game to play at 6mm?

Very nice and from experience easy to paint as always
Although I have quite a lot of British I am waiting for Austro Hungarians and Russians so I can get some larger games in with Bloody Big Battles
Well Gianna for the Battle of the Somme you’ll only need 750000 for the allies. I suggest you find someone else to do the Germans
Is that all? I will need an army to paint an army. Thankfully they are small and do not need a ton of detailing!
@torros Well Somme battles are larger than others…
… Just glad I didn’t mention the Battle of Loos as my example now
Well…Somme you win, some you Loos.
Baccus mini’s are superb and of course 6mm is a fab scale to get into for your bigger battles 🙂
