The AX-9 Armadillo Gets Ready For Battle With ClearHorizon Miniatures
May 29, 2015 by brennon
ClearHorizon have been putting the finishing touches to their AX-9 Armadillo Armored Personnel Carrier that will be out soon. See what you think of it below...
As you can see it's one beast of a vehicle that's also a lot larger than even the others in their 15mm range like the Nemesis LSV above. It's a neat looking piece of kit and another great piece in their collection.
It's getting harder and harder to try and avoid delving into the world of 15mm Sci-Fi!
What do you think?

nice shame its 15mm.
Exactly my thoughts…
Well if enough people ask nicely maybe he’ll do it in 28mm for you. After all thats what happened with the nemesis.
That is nasty!
it would be perfect for warpath if only it were 28mm…
Or if only Warpath were 15mm.
That does look *very* nice.
Thanks everyone 🙂
And yes, the 28mm Nemesis has proven very popular (I’m having a hard time keeping them in stock!) so if that continues I see no problem with having the Armadillo upscaled to 28mm as well.
My only concern is that it would probably be approaching the $35 dollar range due simply to the costs in resin.
Does this price sound reasonable? If not, what price would work?
It looks great 🙂
$35 sounds does sound reasonable to me. Cant think of any cool apc that comes in cheaper
The price sounds very reasonable!
Vehicle is fairly standard sci-fi fair but armadillo – Harry Enfield killed that as a serious name for me. (kids go look for Dime bar advert Harry Enfield)
