Avatars Of War’s Warthrone Now Available In English!
July 6, 2015 by brennon
Avatars of War have now added their Warthrone Rules including the armies of the Cirlean Empire, Dwarfs, Legions of the Apocalypse, Goblins and Dark Elves to their website. If you were won over by their models and now want to delve into the rules then now is the time.
You can go ahead and download everything you need on the links above including the templates that are needed in game too. The models from these guys really are superb and the rules have been in Spanish for so long! I suppose that it is very pertinent that they are out now.
Will you be giving it a go?

This is VERY interesting been waiting years for a translation!
Surely it can’t be better than Age of Sigmar, right?
@vezadecio haha.
Love AoW heroes. They rival their citadel counterparts and they’re still made of metal! 😀
I wonder what the game will be like.
They’ve got some great resin models as well. I own a fair chunk of most of their dwarf line. Yup, the metal individuals are fabulous as well. I picked up six of the thunderlords, to use as skirmishers, and I’m very happy with them.
Its good to my eyes though I’d need to play it some to get a better feel. I’m currently translating the fan made Vampire list to English though being as I don’t speak Spanish its slow going triple checking translations.
Looking at the game, it looks similar to Ragnarok – primarily it uses orders to command units and to allow for reaction orders. That’s great.
Sweet. A rules set that doesn’t need to be fixed right out of the gate!
That is good news indeed. I like AoW models so being able to play them outside using them as alternatives to GW once is great.
I like what I see, have to read all now.
Downloaded will be investigating.
@vezadecio lol
