Avatars Of War have put together some good rewards for their Patreon backers this month. You'll be able to download and print off some Legendary Orcs and Skeleton Orcs for use in your Fantasy games like The 9th Age.

Legendary Orcs #1 - Avatars Of War

Legendary Orcs // Avatars Of War

The first set of miniatures is the collection of Legendary Orcs which could serve as your lords and champions throughout your army. There are four or so of them to choose from which are very much designed to match the Warhammer aesthetic. I love the big shoulder pads, oversized weapons and ramshackle armour. It reminds me a lot of the Orc designs in the Warhammer MMORPG.

Legendary Orcs #2 - Avatars Of War

Whilst I've highlighted two of the more armoured versions of these Legendary Orcs, there are options for more savage heroes too. I have always been a big fan of Orcs, especially as a rampaging enemy for my Dwarf armies, so it's good to see Avatars Of War tweaking and adding to their range. Hopefully, they come out as physical sculpts later on down the line.

Skeleton Hordes

As well as the Legendary Orcs, we also have some Skeleton Orcs which are actually available as a little bit of a multi-part kit! This allows you to make whatever kind of skeleton you like.

Skeleton Orcs #1 - Avatars Of War

I like the idea of these Orcs actually making it into a larger greenskin force. Maybe the shaman that sits at the centre of your force has been able to tap into some necromantic energy from an unearthed well of power? Now he is able to bring back more and more Orcs even as they bite the dust!

All of these miniatures and the relevant bits are available over on their 3D Printing Patreon right now. I think they look great and it's neat to see another outlet for the designs that Avatars Of War have been thinking up in the background.

Are you tempted to back their Patreon and snap these up for use in your own 9th Age or Warhammer army?
