Atlantis’ Wood Elf Kickstarter Goes Live May 22nd
May 20, 2019 by brennon
Atlantis Miniatures has now given a date for their newest Kickstarter project. The Wood Elves are emerging from the forest on Wednesday, May 22nd.
The collection will contain around twenty new Elves, each of which would be great for creating a new skirmishing warband, adding into dioramas or maybe even for use as heroes. I think the character that Atlantis Miniatures are able to work into their sculpts is amazing. I particularly like the natural elements woven into these various characters.
You can see it here with the way the horns/ridges have been sculpted coming out of their foreheads. I think that these characters could either be painted with dark green skin or maybe the woody texture that you see on the Bosmer in Elder Scrolls games.
Will you be backing this campaign?

I may miss this one, but I love this take on wood elves, and Atlantis minis in general are superb.
they look good with the horns they could make an interesting dark elf faction.
Auhh man… I don’t need a wood elf army (must not collect, must not back, must not collect, must not back, must not collect, must not back). Can I fool myself on this one??
Ever try running through dense woods without a shirt? It’s like cooking bacon naked.
Yikes… there’s one thing for it!
PLease don’t tell my other half why her birthday present is significantly less expensive this year…
