Atlantis Rock The Mountains With New Ogre Kickstarter
July 10, 2018 by brennon
Atlantis Miniatures has now begun their Kickstarter for some huge Ogre models. Come and take a peek...
This range of monstrous warriors are all scaled to 28mm but stand at anywhere between 45mm and 55mm when it comes to their actual stature. They are towering and incredibly well sculpted, showing off a stunning amount of detail and as someone who has some of the Atlantis range, they all look just as good as they do in the renders.
The sets are broken down into either the Ogre Box above or if you want to get stuck into them in more detail, via the massive Elite box which contains everything that you see above plus a load of extra models to make up the characters of your warband.
You can also build your own order if you would prefer to have some of their Female models instead. That way you get to pick and choose the monsters you wish to use when building up an army.
What do you think about their new campaign?

I’m in for a few so far. They look good!
they look great very (Warcraft Ork) looking.
Looks of interest, has anyone got any experience of the Resin used by Atlantis (I’ve come across so many kinds the word Resin doesn’t really describe the material used). Do you find it brittle, soft, etc?
I have their dwarves and the quality is quite good. Very few bubbles to fill and great capture of the detail in the sculpts. Almost no cleanup needed and they take Army Painter primer quite well. The resin is not as good as Scale76 but leaves Forge World wondering what century it is. I will pick up some amount of figures for my Kings of War armies but wish there were a better mix of male to female figures in the pre made sets.
lol… and unlike Forge World models, these are worth the money.
Yes. I have some trolls and they’re really nice. Good sturdy resin (not quite FW but not far off), minimal cleanup. I like it.
I’m in. Their dwarfs and mythologocial critters are fabulous!
