Artel W Miniatures have been showing off some of the work-in-progress renders for their upcoming Nookhaz who are going to be joining the Iron Horde soon and fleshing out their already impressive Sci-Fi wargaming miniatures collection.

Iron Horde Nookhaz #1 - Artel W Miniatures

Iron Horde Nookhaz Preview #1

There are three different miniatures in their current crop of previews for the expanding Iron Horde. All of them would be fantastic options for those who want to make their band of Nobz in Warhammer 40,000 look that little bit more impressive. You need someone who looks like they could crush a Space Marine in their power klaw easily!

Iron Horde Nookhaz Preview #2

There are a few different models here armed with a variety of weapons. For example, the miniature above comes armed with a four-barrelled blaster which looks like it going to spit out a horrendous amount of firepower. Twin that with the buzzsaw in his power klaw and you've got a foe who is deadly at range and up close.

Iron Horde Nookhaz Preview #3

The inventiveness and the creativity that you get when making an Ork army and choosing the right models for it is what has always drawn me to them. They are a bit of a pain in the arse to paint as you've got to do a lot of gubbins and stuff but once you get past that, I think you'd have one of the best looking armies out there.

Whilst I do like the big boyz (always got to have a z on the end) I do think that my heart would be drawn to a band of little Gretchin and Grots as the focus of a proper Warhammer 40,000 army. I think I'd just embrace the idea that I'd lose pretty much all my games and have fun with it.

What do you think of these new previews?
