Artel W Miniatures has been working away on a new range of Fantasy characters which are themed to the classic options available for dungeon delvers in the likes of D&D. They teased artwork for some characters a while back and they have now moved onto the render stage with their Fighter and Barbarian front and centre.

Warrior Render // Artel W Miniatures

This Warrior would make an excellent Fighter, a grizzled combatant who has seen many fights in their life. You get the sense that maybe his arms and armour are magical thanks to all of the additional detail. I like that he also has the bag of coins attached to his belt, showing that he still has a need for coin as he adventures throughout the world.

Sticking with the feel of wild warriors who have seen many battles, you've also got this Barbarian.

This fellow is clearly bellowing a challenge to some mighty beast who threatens his homeland. The same level of detail has been added into his arms and armour too, a deadly warrior with fighting claws, swords and that hefty double-headed axe.

Fantasy Adventurer Concept Art

As well as the two renders above we also saw some concept art for what is coming next. All of these are Humans so far but I'd hope we'll see some other races explored in future releases!

I really like the way the Ranger has turned out in particular, especially as a neat option for use in Rangers Of Shadow Deep. This fellow would look fantastic painted up in greens and other earthy colours or something darker if you wanted to go more "Night's Watch".

I can't wait to see what pose they go with for each of these figures too!

What do you hope they work on next for their Fantasy collection?
