Arrrrrrrh! The Pirates Are Returning To AdeptiCon Next Week
March 24, 2016 by deltagamegirl22
The fantastic pirate game, Fist Full of Seaman, will be making its triumphant return to Adepticon next week, so ready your best pirate impression and prepare to take to the high seas. Mr. Christian and the Mutineers proudly present another continuing installment in the “Fist Full of Seamen” story: "But Pirates are coming!"
The Year is 1703, and while the European powers squabble in the world's deadliest paternity suit, The War of Spanish Succession, the Caribbean colonies vie for the title of Cane-Sugar-Mama of the West Indies.
In this incredibly immersive and outrageous game, up to 40 players can take to the sea as command or crew of beautiful ships as they quest to pillage and plunder, trade and takeover ships. You will encounter innocent traders, devious pirates, nobility and even hungry cannibals. The folks that run the game do a fantastic job of taking players through the game, offering assistance when needed and staying in character perfectly throughout the game which only makes the game more fun!
The games will run Friday and Saturday evening of the show as well as a Captain Kid's High Seas Adventure Saturday afternoon, offering the under sixteen crowd their own piraty scenario under the direction of the pirates.
Those that participate in the game will also find themselves receiving an AdeptiCon exclusive, 28mm Governors Daughter model sculpted by the talented Michael Owen.
Perhaps this year, I will find myself in command of my own ship for longer than a single turn before landing myself in jail? Or perhaps not. It will be fun either way!
Will you be joining a crew for adventure on the high seas?

I would if I where there – looking great
that great news, I remember reading your report last year. I hope it is as much fun as it looked, can’t wait to read about this years game. Enjoy
Looks like a lot of fun 🙂
… although the name of the game leaves something to be desired.
Is this actually a rule set available anywhere or likely to be if not? Ask them, ask them!
the ships look great a bit big for most tables?
They’re definitely big and meant to run at this large scale battle.
unless you have a house like Obama or the Queen that is?
I’m not sure I like the name of the game
