The Aronnax Burst From The Seas For Warcradle’s Dystopian Wars

Warcradle Studios has been showing off the newest range of previews for Dystopian Wars. The focus right now is on some terrifying colossi for the Enlightened that will be surging out of the waves, ready to drag ships to their deep demise.

The Enlightened are able to call on the power of the Aronnax Colossus Squadrons. These sea monsters were crafted and then lay dormant at the bottom of the ocean, their base programming pushing them to survive. When the command is given, they surge forth and obey the command of their Enlightened masters.

When the Aronnax strike, they use their terrifying mechanical jaws to tear through the hulls of enemy ships. Some people view the Aronnax as actual living sea beasts and you can see why, these Kraken-esque creatures burst out of the water and drag vessels down into the darkness.

If you're looking to add some new creations to your Enlightened force then you will have access to the Aronnax when June rolls around. The miniatures look rather nifty indeed and I like that they are shown in different "states" with tentacles flailing and then also closed as they dive through the water.

Alliance Support Squadrons

If you missed out on previous Alliance options for your fleet then you can also pre-order a new Alliance Support Squadron set for the month of June.

This set comes with two of the Dieppe Levant Cruiser (may also be built as Alma, Lyon, Marseille or Gascony Class) as well as two Honneur Levant Destroyers and two Frelon Tokens. You can use these to help supplement your force and bring some added firepower into the mix with a different spin.
