Army Painter Bundle Together One Massive Painting Mega Deal
May 14, 2015 by brennon
If you've been looking at Army Painter and just don't know exactly which paints you need then how about their celebratory Mega Deal which gets you everything from their Warpaints range plus a little bit extra? This new set will only be available until the 21st of May in the UK HERE and the US HERE...
Everything? Everything!
Taking a look below you'll see the set and some of its massive range of paints alongside shaders, metallics, varnishes and even some paint brushes too.
As well as the regular Warpaints you also get some of the new Zombicide Warpaints in with the set which is neat. If you're looking to have a colour for every occasion then this could certainly work out as a good set to pick up.
What do you think of their range?

…just bought one!
Warpaint is excellent, covers well and is really really matte and slightly muted. It seems they’re handling it with the zombiecide set.
I would be very interested to know what @romain thinks of this selection?
Personally I like the Army painter collection they do lots of sprays that 100% colour match there paints which is great as you can prime in a good selection of colours also there mega box set always appears to be on special offer which is great for gamers.
I just wonder how these compare to Vallejo
I do use the army painter sprays, they are excellent, have really good coverage and a magnificent selection of colours, I’m rather into the Alien Purple!
I think I may have got this the wrong way around but I used to use Vallejo paints for over 10 years but changed to the new GW range which for fantasy and Sifi I find is a really nice paint to use. The Warpaints I’ve only tried the Dragon Red which I was not impressed with though I do like the Strong Tone wash and the bottled Matt varnish. I still use Vallejo for military projects though I’m experimenting with the Humbrol line of acrylics.
Awesome! Would be so much better than my GW Paint collection that I bought a few years ago. Half of the jars were dried out when I finally opened them and GW wouldn’t let me return it because I opened the jars. =/
And that’s the big down side with GW paints that they dry out to quick, they could almost have planned it that way.
The first gen pots didnt dry out what i know, so they “fixed” that .. a bit like they did with the lightbulb
I like their strong tone and use it a lot, if i were to start out again i may have considered this but already got loads of GW Vallejo and P3’s, can remember the Zombicide range/set got lots of negativity at the time…not sure why now though.
In the same boat, mix and match I think is the best policy, find what you like but don’t be afraid to try alternatives.
I used this as the core of my paint set then just added anything else i needed to it. I have mixed it with GW and Vallejo paints with no issues.
Found these to be good quality, diversity isn’t fantastic but well worth the buy and for standard blocking brush work the brushes are decent.
