1st Corps and Curteys Miniatures has added some new metal Medieval Knights to their collection, each of them leaders in their own right, ready to lead a Crusade against the enemy. It's like they heard Warren talking about it on The Weekender!

King Richard I

Leading the way, for example, we have Richard I here mounted up as he is on his horse, ready to strike down at a foe that stands before him. While I don't particularly like the design of the horse I think the rider looks awesome, especially with the fur around his neck.

Matching him we have quite the Warrior Bishop from the Late 12th and Early 13th Century.

Bishop

Something tells me that he should have swapped out that sword for a mace but then again maybe he's fed up with the rules on shedding blood. I think this could make for a great alternative leader of your force, more motivated by faith than anything else.

Last, in terms of painted examples, we have this Warlord who covers the same time period as the Bishop above.

Warlord

He's gone for the axe as his weapon of choice which is neat. It might not be as versatile as a sword in combat but he sure does deliver a crushing blow when that weighted head smashes into your helmet.

You can see more of their Medieval Characters over on their website and find the perfect leader for your army.

What do you think of these warriors?
