Antediluvian Miniatures Preview A Tentacled Lost God
January 11, 2016 by brennon
Antediluvian Miniatures are stepping away from the dinosaurs and other prehistoric beasts for a creature that is much older and decidedly primordial. See what you think of their 'Lost God' which dwells deep beneath an ancient city...
The sculpt for Antediluvian has been done by Philip Hynes and looks like it would be a deadly encounter for your time travelling explorers to bump into. The model is calling out for some boiling black ichor to be created for his base and then a bit of tweaking with his pose.
I would twist him a bit to have him leering over those interlopers in his domain with tentacles outstretched.
What do you think?

Strange looking creature.
its got a very Harryhausen look to it
It does, doesn’t it? Reminds of the 60’s Jason and the Argonauts.
This looks like Zargon straight out the D&D module B-4 (Hidden City)
Sorry it was called the Lost City, module B4.
@blackthom : so a lost god for a lost city then? 😉
