Antediluvian Fight Shambling Conquistador Zombies!
August 20, 2018 by brennon
Antediluvian Miniatures are going to be bringing their range of exotic explorers to the tabletop very soon and alongside that, we also get Conquistador Zombies!
These new models popped up on their Facebook Page and a quick look at what they're working on right now. I think they look awesome and would make for great undead across a number of games. Paul Muller has done a superb job on these, giving the normally shuffling zombies a lot more of an animated look.
You can just imagine these Fantasy explorers heading off to the depths of a foreign jungle and suddenly waking up one day to find half of their expedition gone. As they trudge through the sweltering heat looking for their comrades they come across these shambling monstrosities, a dark and twisted mirror image of their former crewmates.
With the right colour scheme, these would be great for an old-fashioned Mordheim Vampire warband as Empire Soldiers who have been turned to serve their new master.
What do you make of these new sculpts?

Those would look great in a Vampire Coast themed army for WHFB. 😉
How about a darker twist? A ruthless explorer El Capitan who won’t let the fact that his troops have died stop him from finding his goal deep in the depths of the foreign jungle? Perhaps these guys were “lucky” enough to drink from the “Fountain of Eternal Life”
Should’ve drunk from the Fountain of Eternal Youth first then. ?
May make an interesting game of Dr who or Scooby do running around a museum after the sciencetists start to turn then the displays come to life.
I am really looking forward to this range coming out the previously shown explorers are also cracking sculpts and will e perfect for the Dragons Conquer America RPG.
Paul Muller is one of my favourite sculptors, very hyped about this cooperation with Antediluvian Miniatures. I guess it is time to finally paint Pirazzo’s Lost Legion?
