Ant-Man & The Wasp Go Big For Marvel: Crisis Protocol
May 26, 2020 by brennon
Atomic Mass Games continued with the previews for Ant-Man & The Wasp for use in Marvel: Crisis Protocol by showing them off big too! We talked about the tiny models last week and now we've got a peek at them at their 'normal' scale.

The superhero landing pose for Ant-Man here is very cool indeed although he could also be in a position to leap forward, smashing into his enemies and knocking them over. Wasp is equally as cool at her 'normal' size. She seems a bit similar to her small scale version which is off. It might have been fun to see her rushing forward perhaps with a shoulder at the ready to knock over a goon or two.
These miniatures are looking fun but as someone pointed out, it would have been cool to see the smaller miniatures be even smaller. They wouldn't have been able to get quite as much detail into the mix perhaps but I do think it would have been fun to see them as tiny little specks rushing around. Imagine if they'd been the size of the wheels on those cards?
What do you think of these new miniature previews?
"...it would have been cool to see the smaller miniatures be even smaller"
Antman is nice, the Wasp is ok.
And yes it woudl have been great if they were the size of the infantry from Epic: Armageddon.
I think they should have gone for ‘normal sized wasp’ without wings.
As for smaller Antman and Wasp… there’s a game called ‘Book of Nox’ by Shed Games that has a bunch of Victorian heroes, one of which is the invisible man. To depict him they used a base with footprints, but no miniature… I suggest people do something similar if they want really tiny versions.
Nice looking model’s are they making a giant version of antman.
be cheaper to buy a kids toy I think
Lol probably.
Spotted a mistake from the gamedesigner: Wasp only has her Wings when she is small.
Cool stuff. Smaller would be nice, but I must admit that I find the detail on the CP a tad soft, especially considering their price. Having loads of fun painting them still, but I’m not sure if Atomic mass could pull those mini’s of.
Are these Janneette Van Dyne and Henry Pym or Scott Lang and the movie lady?
I have to say I’m very disappointed in the Wasp. It’s practically the same pose in both versions, very uninspiring. At least they could have changed up the pose in a similar way to Ant-Man
I will be snagging these when they are released.
I think I’ll be modding Wasp’. I see lots of possibility in that mini.
I like the idea of her charging forward with a shoulder smash ready for the bad guys!
