Titan Forge Announce New Range Based On Asian Mythology
April 25, 2018 by dracs
Titan Forge has announced that this May will see the release of a new army based on Asian mythology; the forces of the Dragon Empire.
The range will reportedly bring over thirty new units, including dragons, samurai, geisha, elemental mages, lion cavalry, fire-spitting machines, and ninja.
I am very excited to see these miniatures. Titan has been teasing us with these sculpts for some time now, so it is great to have them on their way to the store.
The sculpts look very imaginative, while still staying evocative of the Asian fantasy style they are going for.
What are you most excited to see from this army?

Very Manga looking with the flying war fish.
Would be great for doing a Cathay army for WHFB for those that still play it.
Or remnants or descendants or new guys or… or… or…
Nah, the eastern asthmatic will be taken by Teenage Mutant Ninja Skaven in the new setting.
😛
asthmatic?
Aesthetic – bloody autocorrect 😆
Although asthmatic ninja rats would be something new.
To be exact “the eastern asthmatic” style for man-rats…
Is that the thing with the dentist breathing face mask that’s so popular far east? Especially in combo with khaki fishing bucket hats (or whatever these are called) and huge old females’ sunglasses?
omg
Those are really stunning.
If you look at the Komainu cav just very briefly you might get the impression they were huge man-like bestial infantry. I’d really like that.
When / where can I buy?
Plastic?
