More Of Ana Polanšćak’s Folk Horrors Creep Onto Kickstarter
April 6, 2023 by brennon
Andrew May of Meridian Miniatures is back on Kickstarter with a new project looking at bringing new Folk Horrors to the tabletop. More of the creepy creations by Ana Polanšćak of Gardens Of Hecate have been added into the mix for your twisted Fantasy and Pulp games.
Folk Horrors II Kickstarter // Meridian Miniatures & Ana Polanšćak
The newest range of miniatures covers another twelve or so creatures that have been summoned from the minds of a rural cult. If you're looking to harness the spookiness of British and European folklore then this is definitely the way to go.

You've got twisted Rag Devils, the very odd Deer and the Stork alongside those incredibly odd Straw Children. I think my favourite ones from the new collection are the Bellman miniatures though. I could imagine them walking through dense woodland, their bells softly ringing as they approach, clubs in hand. You are destined to be used for some kind of foul ritual!
As well as some of the new miniatures, you can also get your hands on older sculpts by Ana Polanšćak as well.

There are also more miniatures that popped up in the past as well, increasing the creepy count by a good dozen once again! If you're diving into some of the strange grimdark skirmish games out there at the moment like The Doomed, Verrotwood and the like, these seem absolutely perfect.
Miscellaneous Monsters // Meridian Miniatures
This campaign is only running for four more days so if you're interested in getting these miniatures, you'll want to dive in sooner rather than later. It should be noted that all of the miniatures are around 28mm in scale and come in metal so they should have a nice old-school feel!
Will you be picking up these miniatures for yourself?

I’m in for these. Got the older set in a previous kickstart. The monsters featured in an indie of the week in the past. I really should add those as said indie was in North America somewhere.
Harwood Hobbies are the indie I was thinking of.
If memory serves he’s sold that range about 2 weeks ago so its not available at all until whoever bought it starts selling them
It was indeed Harwood – he’s been a long term friend of mine. We were texting about this range this morning.
Ooh they look great for game’s.
Already backed, as well as the Miscellaneous Monsters. I got the Folk Horrors set in last year’s kickstarter and I love them. I’m really hyped for these, they look amazing.
