Alien Threats Appear On Sensors From Brigade Models
August 25, 2018 by brennon
Brigade Models looks towards more of their massive spaceships with their new release. Here are the Yenpalo, drifting out of deep space, ready to bring ruin to the empires of other races.
Here's what Brigade Models had to say...
"The Yenpalo are humanoid reptilians with a thing about hexagons and the number six"
These ships aren't exactly new. They were originally designed for the now out-of-print Iron Cow Rules but they have been revamped and brought back to life for your new Sci-Fi games. All of these ships are available as part of a fleet, or individually.
What do you think of the design of these alien vessels?

Look great. Brigade are still one of the best miniature companies out there
Those are some good looking ships. Design wise those remind me about Centauri ships from Babylon 5.
Chigs
That’s a word I’ve not heard in a long time.
Forgotten all about them
Ooh nice a brilliant variety of ship’s.
Babylon 5 Narn fleet.
I don’t know why I was thinking Centauri ships when those clearly look like Narn ships.
as pointed out below, there are striking resemblances to both the Chigs of Space: Above and Beyond, and the Narn from Babylon 5 here. But they are still different enough to not be ripoffs, or maybe not even “inspired by”
the minis here do look a bit like they are made of cardboard…maybe it is the white stripes down the sides.
Very interesting designs and has a unique visual aspect to them. Would definitely like to work out stats for them in Squadron Strike (http://www.adastragames.com/squadron-strike/) and buy some other minis from Brigade to build fleets to fight against.
