More New ALIEN Movie Concept Art Pops Up
July 18, 2015 by brennon
Director of the new ALIEN movie following on from the events of the fated destinies of both Ripely and Hicks Neill Blomkamp has shared another piece of concept art for the project...
The art shows both Ripley and Hicks being (most likely) roughed up by a Colonial Marine (note the South Korean flag on his shoulder) at some research facility or otherwise secretive location. It's great that the project is still progressing forward and I think a lot of people would love to see this hit the silver screen again.
I'm actually looking forward to Prometheus II as well.
Will you be following for more ALIEN news?

Prometheus II…well, it can’t be worse than it’s predecessor. Surely the characters cvan’t act more retardedly than in the first movie.
This is not Prometheus 2. This is an Alien movie.
HURR DURR I AM WILD DOG MAN HEAR ME HOWL AND BARK LIKE A RETARD BECAUSE THE WRITER WAS 12 AND WHAT IS THIS?
I’m staying positive about the potential that new Aliens and Prometheus films holds.
If it all goes pear shaped I just go back to my happy world where only Alien, Aliens and Alien 3 exist and the graphic novels are quirky “what if” scenarios.
Odds that the S. Koreans will be ‘white-washed’ if this does ever make it film? 🙂
I’m sure we’re in an age where people of any race can pretty much live anywhere, or at least that’s the excuse lol.
It’ll raise my eyebrow if it was N. Korean flag 😉
Im excited for Prometheus 2 and the new Aliens film, I’m getting to the age now where it is just nice to see old characters in movies even if the films aren’t the best.
Nostalgia is a powerful thing!
No interest in Prometheus 2. Any movie that has Morph’s cousin Chas from ‘Hart Beat’ as the main antagonist I just cant take seriously. Excited to see what Blomkamp does with the new Aliens movie though. I might be one of the very few people who actually enjoyed Chappie. 🙂
There seems to be an misunderstanding. This movie has nothing to do with Prometheus.
Its a direct Sequel to Alien/Aliens that ignores Alien 3 and 4.
Read the last line written from the article. It will address why people are talking about Prometheus. Good luck!
as we all try to do?
Blomkamp is overrated – District 9 was a one-hit-wonder.
I don’t have any hopes for this movie – but I hope it’s great.
Alien 3 is underrated.
Agreed.
Alien 3 is fantastic even with the issues making it. Could have been so much more though.
Yeah, Bloomkamp lost a lot of cred with Elysium and Chappie.
Still hope his Alien flick turns out nice
I dunno if Alien 3 is underrated, its eaily the worst of the real alien films (ressurection, and AvP do not count to me). I enjoy prometheus a lot more than Alien 3, although the behind the scenes story and constant rewrites and budget cuts of 3 explain a lot of its problems. The premise of this Aliens installment could tie up a lot loose ends in alien 3 and ressurection. Especially if the Ripley in 3 is actually a clone, they may be able to retcon some sense into the later installments (can hope anyway), although i expect blomkamp… Read more »
hopefully this will hit the big screens.
If a Prometheus II is made hopefully it will make the first story understandable?
S. Weaver should be 65 years old and Michael Biehn 60, no? Return of the Grannyaliens 🙂
