Alessio Cavatore Starts Video Series to Talk Terminator Genisys

Alessio's Vision
Alessio Cavatore has started the first in a series of videos to tell us more about the upcoming Terminator Genisys Miniatures Game.
This first video addresses the vision behind River Horse's attempt to bring the movie to the tabletop. Excitingly, Alessio says that a new version of the game will appear with each of the future movies and that there will be the capacity to expand the game from small skirmish games to a full wargame.
This will of course mean bigger models, including hunter killers and tanks, letting you recreate the chaotic battles between humanity and skynet.
Terminators Invade Warlord Orders
This weekend, Warlord are running a special give away on their webstore orders as they include the a set of Terminator Endoskeletons before the Terminator Genisys game has even appeared for pre-order.
These are, of course, the iconic and implacable foot troops of skynet. Beneath its organic exterior, one of these hides with the Terminator and its skull face has become one of the most immediately recognisable robots of scifi.
We have been catching glimpses of these multi-part miniatures for a while, but this will be the first time we get the chance to snag some for ourselves. Unfortunately, only a limited number of these are available and they will only be included on orders up to April 27th.
Warlord have announced that they will be starting pre-orders for the Terminator Genysis Miniatures Game come May, so be sure to keep an eye out.
Are you looking forward to this game?

I hadn’t planned to buy any more Bolt Action for a while but the freebie Terminators got me… well played Warlord.
The robots are nice
Excellent timing to get your obligatory shuuro set.
saw the sprues for the terminators and humans up close today, and they look awesome 🙂
they look far more detailed than these photos seem to show 🙂
The problem faced by all miniatures based on film characters, is that you’re using designs not designed to be miniatures. The result can be some rather dull looking, unimposing sculpts like we have here.
Bleh. Not at all interested.
Great idea. No doubt I’ll be playing!
I was at Salute and had a nice chat about the game… and the figs are much better in the flesh, good detail, even the green army man looked fine, add some paint and off you go. Also rules for spider tanks, tracked and flying Hks…..
The main problem here is that there are only 2 sides robots vs humans. I remember it being said by some “famous” game designer that you need a minimum of 4 factions to maintain interest .
Well WW2 was 2 factions…USA vs Germans…. and I think we ( Brits ) helped with some of it…!!!!!
Hope you don`t mind the light hearted reply….:-)
More like the Soviets vs. the Axis. Seriously, Russia pulled the most weight among the allies in WW2 by far. And, you know, had 600 people shot by a single pint-sized finn.
But anyway, You could probably get away with 3 factions, but 2 seems too little.
i am not going to go with this, will watch what happens with some interest but will wait until in Alessio’s vision of the wargame version possibly taken three films to get to that point, then why would anyone go with something in the words of Alessio change with each film in turn until finally as he says go hard back and full wargame. Seems to me to have shot themselves in the foot there. I know skirmish have their place but I was hoping for something more of the cinematic from the get go.I play enough skirmish till the cows… Read more »
I’m not really sure what to make of this either. I can understand wanting a new set for retail to coincide with the movie releases, but a new edition of the game each time feels like the wrong way to go.
