Akio Takashi is Here to Teach You the Ways of Bushido
July 6, 2014 by dracs
Bushido's latest mini has appeared; Akio Takashi, the legendary sensei of the Prefecture of Ryu.
Akio Takashi is a legendary swordsman who has taught almost all of the Prefecture's samurai. However, as battle continues in Bushido the Prefecture needs every man it can get, so Akio returns to the field, bringing his combat and tactical expertise to the field.
The model itself is an excellent samurai, with plenty of graceful motion in the sculpt, while the design of his ornate helmet helps to stand him out as a commander level character. It will be interesting to hear how he plays out in the game itself.
Do you play with the Prefecture of Ryu?

I think I’m going to have to look into this game. I love feudal Japan setting type games.
I haven’t played Bushido but it seems to have a kind of Malifaux feel to it. 🙂 You might like Kensei by Zenit Miniatures as well.
This is the Bushido I like to see. Top quality looking models I’ll always go for.
The prefecture is one of my factions but I haven’t visited the Jawa isles in a while. This model could go a long way too getting my interest back
That sculpt looks great and I also like that pose.
