Take Aim With V&V Miniatures 40mm Medieval Archers

V&V Miniatures has added another new set of miniatures to its collection. Rather than 28mm though, these miniatures are 40mm so would be good for use in displays and dioramas. Take aim and shoot some French knights with these Medieval English Archers.
40mm English Archers // V&V Miniatures
The set comes with seven detailed resin miniatures representing the skilled archers that would have been fighting during the Hundred Years' War. All of the miniatures, as you can see, are unique and should provide you with fun painting challenges. I love the chap giving that classic two-fingered sign to the enemy to show that he can still fire his bow and the other chap, hammering in some defences.

What's neat is that all of the English Archers come with loads of additional kit that they've taken with them to the battlefield. Lots of sacks, ropes and some handy weapons that could be useful should the fighting end up getting close to their position. Those weapons could also be handy for those looking to finish off the wounded and retrieve their arrows.
Could you be tempted to pick up these 40mm miniatures to paint or perhaps use in a skirmish game?

That archers fingers are the wrong way round. He’s either doing a Japanese school girl impression or bunny ears behind a mates head for a photo shoot.
I guess you could cut it off and turn it around to give the proper fingers 🙂
So the snowflakes don’t have a seizure.?
Great looking figures.
