Help Your Adventure Planning With Fantasy AGE Lairs
March 9, 2020 by brennon
Green Ronin has another expansion supplement planned for their Fantasy AGE game called Lairs (available in PDF form too) which is going to be the perfect companion for storytellers without a lot of time.
This particular supplement for the game comes with eight complete and ready-to-play adventures which could span across multiple sessions with your group. But, as well as that the book also gives you a set of location-based adventures which allow you to focus in on a particular threat and their very own lair. As well as featuring these adventures and their adjacent details you'll also find four to six additional ideas which can be used to take your campaign even further.
As well as this, the expansion also builds on the Stunts System for the game with both Location and Lair Stunts. Stunts are a neat mechanics in the game which allow the players and Game Master to do special abilities and add a bit more narrative to their endeavours on the tabletop. Stunts are a great way to get new players into the swing of things and describing your actions in a more narrative style.
I think Lairs could be a great book for new Game Masters and if you're a fan of the Fantasy AGE system, a good way to expand upon your repertoire for those weeks when you just can't figure out where to go next with your adventures.

Looks good.
In June, I will write my paper for Fantasy AGE about this great addition to Fantasy AGE Lairs: new rules (chases, relationships, large-scale battles, organizations …), talents, specializations, spells, etc.
