The team at Severed Books are on Kickstarter right now looking to create a set of rather awesome looking dice and other accessories based on Andrew MacLean and IMAGE Comics' Head Lopper comic book series.

Head Lopper Custom Dice #1

The main focus of the campaign is to design a set of custom dice which carry iconography from the comic book series. There are nine red/black dice within the set including those all-important D6 which are useful for rolling up damage and your statistics in Dungeons & Dragons. The D6 also feature the face of Agatha, the severed head which Head Lopper Norgal carries around with him in the comics.

The dice also come with a drawstring bag which will keep them all safe. What I like about these dice is that it is very easy to actually tell what you've rolled on them! There are so many very pretty dice out there which are incredibly hard to read which makes them very hard to actually play with.

As well as the dice you'll also be able to get your hands on a set of system-agnostic tarot-sized cards which feature art of the major characters from Head Lopper plus rules on the back to use them in your role-playing adventures.

Head Lopper Custom Dice #3

T-shirts, character sheets and more have also been talked about throughout the campaign which each have their own unique style to them which would be fun to wear/use when your gaming. Also, the team have teamed up with Skelton Crew Studios on a set of miniatures as well.

Head Lopper Custom Dice #4

The dice and accessories look really fun for those who want to try and dive in and paint up some characters from the game. These are simply previews for now and I'm sure we'll see more of what they have to offer as the campaign unfolds.

For those of you who haven't read the comic book series, you can find it all HERE so you can dive in and get a taste of this Fantastical world which features some pretty wild artwork.

What do you think of their offerings?
