7TV’s 2nd Edition Spy-Fi Box Set Now On Pre-Order
October 19, 2015 by brennon
Keeping up the wave of pre-orders we're seeing right now Crooked Dice have put together their pre-order program for their new 7TV 2nd Edition Boxed Set which is labelled as 'Inch High Spy-Fi'...
Interestingly the game you see above does not actually come with any miniatures and instead contains the rules, counters, cards and everything else that you need to play the game.
They then appear to be leaving it up to you to decide which factions you want to duke it out with on the tabletop. There are therefore six Starter Casts which you can pick up to make the movie of your choice...
As you can see a lot of these pre-order boxed sets, which will only be available for this event (running until November 29th), contain some new miniatures. All of the miniatures and various other configurations of these models will then be available afterwards and the new models in 2016.
The classic combination would be the Action Cast and the Minion Cast although I think it would be rather fun to see the Police go up against the Mad Scientists.
Will you be getting this?

It is very tempting. Not-James-Bond may have to go up against Not-The-Mekon.
Already pre-ordered it! The beauty of the system is that you don’t need to buy CD’s minis. You can use any company’s. For 1st edition I once statted up GW Space Marines.
The rules are very good and will be available free as a download even after the game is released as a box set etc.
I like those three spawns.
The Police and Action cast are very tempting.
Aw I was hoping for two starter casts in the game. So if I bought two starter casts plus the boxed game, I’d have to pay £70, which I guess is the same as Warlord’s starter set prices, so it’s not too high in comparison. And at least you get to choose what to start off with. I am very tempted! And I’ve just realised that as I’d be painting a set for friends to use, I could just buy one set for now and whatever they’d like afterwards. Hmm… I have wanted to get all the rules and token… Read more »
