Black Sun’s 75mm Death Knight Looks For Vengeance

Black Sun Miniatures continually impress with their range of stunning sculpts and their latest Death Knight "Avenger" is no different. Take a look at the work by Joaquin Palacios.

She is 75mm and made of resin, coming in eight different parts. Shown striding down from the steps of her castle to face down whatever cretin has dared issue her a challenge she looks awesome. The armour plate designs look great and the detail work on the sword and shield really hits home.

She is due for a paint job from Sergio Calvo Rubio in the near future and I can't wait to see what he does with that flowing cape she has behind her. In addition to the model as you see here, she also has an alternate head option which closes her helm and gives her a more fearsome visage and changes up the horn design too.

I actually think that this is the helmet I would choose for her. I think the ornate look would come out well with some simple metallic work and then you could go to town on making her look creepy. I think tears of blood dripping from her eyes would be rather epic indeed.
