Quite often I will make my way across by page by page on Kickstarter to support smaller designers and scope out what's happening on the tabletop within ingenious 3D printing ideas. One particular Kickstarter that drew my eye may appeal to those who enjoy plunging into huge tiny battles. Designed for 6mm games, such as Battletech to bring Maxim City onto the printer bed and out on the table.

Maxim City - A 6mm Cityscape Project

Maxim City // A 6mm Cityscape Project

Maxim City brings 6mm Sci-Fi terrain, full of different structures perfect to slot into your current campaign of Battletech. Included in the campaign, players will find a variety of different buildings and infrastructure of extremely high quality in STL Format.

Whether you want to get them printed off via your FDM printer of Resin - the designer has included the necessary skirting and alternatives, to be able to turn the file into a reality with bare minimum hassle. But, the designer has recommended for you to get the most out of the structures, to print smaller and medium buildings off on a resin printer.

Wall and Gates Segment - Stretch Goal Unlock

There are a few different pledges you can tap into, whether you would like five files, fifteen files or the whole lot. If you are pitching towards the 15 files and above, you will also get access to any unlocked stretch goals, which include Wall and Gate Segments, A Nuclear Power Plant and many more beautiful tiny and detailed files.

The campaign has already been funded with 25 days left on the clock. With stretch goals being unlocked left right and centre. If you have a 3D printer at home and want some terrain for your tabletop for your 6mm sci-fi campaigns, be sure to check out Maxim City.

Where would you use this terrain?
