September 15, 2022 by brennon
Henry Turner is on Kickstarter with a new project looking at bringing a set of 6-15mm miniatures to life for use during the Seven Years War period. Dive into the Europe Asunder project that covers a variety of factions fighting during the period.

The armies are all 3D Printable and come with options for printing them in 6mm through to 15mm. All of the nations are covered and the custom Blender files offer up ways for you to customise and tweak the miniatures to suit your needs.
British Light Dragoons By Rob Dunlop // Turner Miniatures
Each of the nations comes with, as they put it, "out of the box" options which allow you to build your core Line Infantry alongside more Elite options. There are marching, standing and action poses for all miniatures plus you'll also find an HQ, Artillery Crews, two types of cannons and options for Dragoons and Cuirassier Cavalry. There are more unique options in there as well but this covers the core of what's on the cards for each of the nations.
The base sets for each of the nations are subject to expand depending on the various stretch goals met. Loads of things are getting added into the mix as the campaign goes. For example, they just unlocked Hussars and more guns for the British! Make sure to check out the stretch goals to see what else is on the cards.
Prussian Dragoons By James Tozer // Turner Miniatures
The armies involved include Prussia, Austria, Russia, France and Great Britain, You can also find miniatures included that could be used to match different factions like Sweden, Saxony, Hanover and Spain through Stretch Goals and such.

There are options for tinkering with the files and doing plenty of additional work if you so desire. But, I think the core options from Henry Turner will satisfy a whole host of people. There are plenty of people playing out battles from this time period at the moment and these fill in a lot of gaps in ranges.
If you're interested in trying out the files before you engage with the Kickstarter project, there are some free files to download HERE. Give them a shot. It might be just what you need to get started with a wargame set during the Seven Years War period.
Are you tempted? You have eight days left!
