40mm Gladiators Battle On V&V Miniatures’ Ancient Sands

V&V Miniatures has put together a new set of models for those who like their painting and want to clash on the sands of an Ancient Roman arena. A new pack of 40mm Gladiators can be snapped up right now.

This offers up a set of six different Gladiators that are all armed with different weapons, ready to take on each other in the arena. You have five male Gladiators and then one female Gladiator who has also been pushed into service.

Whilst these are a bit too big for your traditional 28mm wargames (obviously), these would be fantastic for those wanting to play out a gladiatorial clash. If you just wanted to use these miniatures then you'd simply have to build a 40mm appropriate arena. I think you could just use this as the basis of your gaming set if you really wanted.

You could also paint these as statues that perhaps line the approach to an arena, celebrating the mighty warriors that may have grown popular amongst the citizens. It's certainly a fun set, especially if you're very into this period.
