V&V Miniatures has shown off their new set of 40mm miniatures for you to snap up and add to your collection. Keeping with their focus on Historical miniatures, they have a set of 40mm resin Celts for you to take a peek at.
40mm Celts // V&V Miniatures
This set of Celts showcases some notable figures from the period, no doubt getting ready to kick in the teeth of those invading Romans! You could paint up the likes of Boudicca or perhaps even a druidic-styled Merlin to show off on the mantlepiece.

Whilst these miniatures might be a bit big for your traditional wargames, I could see these being pretty fun markers that could be used to represent game turns perhaps. You could also turn them into statues if you were so inclined to make them into terrain.
I also like the idea of using them as pieces in a board game. Maybe these could be used to show where your armies are in a map-based campaign game.
What do you make of these 40mm Celts and who do you think these all represent?

They are fantastic figures.
Those are some great looking miniatures.
I love these, particularly Boudicca. I wish they did these sculpts in 28mm as well.
Ditto that! I love these sculpts (and their other 40mm figures as well), but I only do 28mm figures. I’ve got probably 2/3rds of their 28mm range at this point, and have used them in many a game of SAGA—they are the finest miniatures of their kind on the market, hands down.
