The 2nd Wave For The Indian Mutiny Arrives From Iron Duke Miniatures
July 24, 2015 by stvitusdancern
Iron Duke Miniatures / Empress Miniatures has released the 2nd wave of miniatures for the Indian Mutiny. This time around they give us the new officers, troops, artillery and wagons.
The poses and details are nice and would paint up nicely. I can see these men leading troops as they attempt to stem the tide of the revolt in a far away land.
You can almost feel the heat rising from the dusty scorched earth beneath the pounding hooves of the oxen pulling the heavy wagons full of supplies to keep the fighting men moving and their morale up.
The artillery pieces in different caliber adds a nice dimension for variety on the battlefield. What an interesting time period that I do not know a lot about but would love to learn more.
Do you think this campaign deserves more attention?

Well I have gamed Indian Mutiny since 1987… a vibrant and exciting period.
These are the best researched and animated figures to date but only to be expected given the sculptor and the man behind the company.
