Grab 28mm Greatcoated Bavarians From Piano Wargames
May 12, 2023 by brennon
Piano Wargames have added a few new metal kits to their webstore for those wanting to dive into some 28mm Napoleonic wargames. The Bavarians are out in force with a variety of troops wearing Greatcoats to keep out the cold!

There are a couple of new packs for you to choose from which are clad in those cosy-looking Greatcoats. You can get your hands on the Command set for example which features a selection of stunningly sculpted miniatures packed with detail. I like the facial expressions that Piano Wargames have managed to get out of these sculpts and they all feel like individual soldiers to me. I very much like the moustache on the fellow over on the right.
As a fan of facial hair, there are also some fellows down below that you can snap up. There are the Grenadiers here who are on the march, heading out across muddy tracks on the path to war.

There is also a set of regular Line/Light Infantry for you to go and pick up as well. They are a little less flashy but still worth taking a peek at! They clearly haven't earned enough stripes to have some fine waxed facial hair.

If you're looking to lead these troops into battle, you've also got a new set of High Command miniatures. This set comes with Crown Prince Ludwig, allowing you to play out his encounters on the battlefield during the period.

Piano Wargames have done some great stuff on Kickstarter over the last few years and it's nice to see their miniatures becoming available on their own webstore for those that have missed out. If you would prefer to get these as STL Files for you to print off then you can also dive into that section of their website! You only have to wait for your 3D Printer to warm up then!
Will you be checking out some more of the miniatures from Piano Wargames?
