Adepticon announced on their site that the official Rules and Schedule for the coveted Crystal Brush have been updated and are ready for aspiring painters. The very prestigious, Crystal Brush, will be located in the AdeptiCon Vendor Hall and open for entry and viewing during normal Vendor Hall hours (10:00AM – 6:00PM Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and 10:00AM – 3:00PM Sunday). Registration will accept entries from 10:00AM to 5:30PM Thursday and Friday.
All entries MUST be submitted by 5:30PM Friday. Online voting is scheduled to begin at 3:00PM Saturday and the Crystal Brush Awards ceremony will be held Sunday, April 3rd, at 3:00PM at a location to be determined (it will be posted at the registration table).
Whether you are working on a piece to enter into the competition, or you just like to live vicariously through those that do, this is such a joy to follow. There's something about hanging back from the case and listening to the conversations that go on between painters as they admire each other's work and share tips and tricks with hobbiests.
Will you be entering a piece into the 2016 Crystal Brush competition at the 2016 Adepticon?

I love the Terminator Captain above, truly a masterpiece. He does looks a bit like he has gene seed from Daniel Craig and Vladamir Putin.
The resemblance to Daniel Craig is intentional. This one was my nomination for best paint job for the BoW awards.
Daniel Craig, so funny!
I had the great pleasure to see this awesome piece live in a competition: It’s just stunning! If you like to see it in detail, there is a great gallery over here: http://www.puttyandpaint.com/projects/7127
Very nice.
Probably the best paint job I’ve ever seen!
love the detailing on the suit.
Look at those beautiful gems and lenses. Those are one of the things I continuously make a balls of when painting.
Truly magnificent model and painting, Simply stunning!
If Carlsburg did miniatures………
